Early Christmas
Adventure #5: BOSTON!!!!!!!! (where everybody knows your name....and they're always glad you came....)
Actually, it's not Boston, rather one of the many suburbs, but hey, close enough! I only got licensed in MA just so I could go. AND NOW I'M GOING. I received the offer on Monday and signed the contract yesterday, and I am so freaking excited I want to go now! Except I have no idea what scrubs I'm supposed to wear...I was expecting a second interview or perhaps a longer one and then being the derp I am I accidentally threw the phone number away of the guy I talked to. Oops. So hopefully I'll find out something soon so I can do some shopping, but aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanyway....
I start January 15th, which means I won't have a lot of time at home but that's ok. And my dad offered to help with the drive, because he's just cool like that. Now whether or not we won't kill each other during a 14 hour drive remains to be seen, so stay tuned. The must-do's and waiting what's next has already begun, and let me tell you, filling out that background check was rather interesting, considering I had to use all the addresses of everywhere I've traveled to....remembering 4 previous addresses was a bit of a doozy. AND....oh my gosh I found this great little house! It's about 30 minutes away from where I'll be working but it's awesome! It looks like a little Hobbit hole and it's well within what my company is allotting me for living expenses. Sure beats apartment living, and no neighbors either, except I may have to trudge through a bit of snow at times, but I'm not going to complain one bit! I'm so excited I can't stand it. I know it's so incredibly dorky and cliche, but dreams really do come true, and I'm so thankful God hears us and knows what we want and need, even though we don't deserve it. At all.
