Resources

If you or someone you know is struggling with depression, anxiety, an addiction or any other mental health problem, please don't give up! There are so many people fighting for you or your loved one; I'm inviting you to join in on that fight.

Suicide Hotline: 1-800-273-8255
Someone is available 24/7

Narcotics Anonymous (NA): www.na.org
You can purchase resources, locate meetings in your area or speak to someone about any questions/concerns you have about virtually anything

National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI) www.nami.org
I use resources and information from NAMI quite often and have had some representatives come to where I work. They use real-life sufferers of a mental illness to come and speak to the units and offer a variety of other services to communities and healthcare facilities. You can also follow them on Twitter @NAMICommunicate

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA): www.aa.org
Similar to the NA website, but you can also sign up to receive their Daily Reflections, which mostly come straight out of the Big Book.

And of course if someone you know is suicidal, DO NOT LEAVE THEM ALONE. Call 911 and stay with them to assure their safety.

Possibly interested in a career in travel nursing? Let me know! I have below the website for the agency I am currently employed with. If interested I will give you the name of my recruiter in private.
