Sisterly wisdom and playing catch up!

The link above is some wonderful words of wisdom written by my sister. Like me, she has her own blog about the work she does, which is pretty awesome. I highly encourage you to check it out. You will not regret it.
My apologies for my extended absence. This has been a month full of ups and downs. The downs being the house my sis and I were supposed to move into totally fell through. And that in and of itself was a total mess of a situation. My grandparents were moved into an assisted living facility, which was not followed by jumps for joy at first but now all is well. The ups have been that we have found a new place to live and are actually moving in this weekend!!!! It's in a good location and actually cuts my commute to work in half. 👍 And last but not least I leave for Peru this Saturday!!! I'm going on a 10 day mission trip to do a bit of medical work. So yeah. Very good things.
While I'm gone, my 2 year "work-a-versary" will be upon me. Hard to believe it's been that long already. And to think last year I was on the cusp of nearly losing it all, all due to my carelessness and thoughts of being invincible. I am so thankful that I have grown as a humble person. This job too, wow. I told my sister it has not only strengthened my faith in God but has also made me a better person. You can learn a lot from recovering addicts, only if you're willing to do so. So that's it for now. May try to sneak in one post while I'm in Peru but we shall see.
